Are all your tradesmen members qualified?
Yes. Onlinetradesmen.com takes great care to ensure the qualifications of its trade members. As such it is the only service that offers this assurance to Irish property owners. Onlinetradesmen.com partners exclusively with industry bodies such as FAS, The Private security authority, RECI, RIAI and the National Guild of Master Craftsmen to verify and differentate Ireland's qualified trade professionals from those without accreditaion.
Where a formal qualifcation for a trade does not exist or has only existed for a short time we insist on both commercial references and insurance cover from applicants before they can become members. We will also refer such applicants to associations such as the National Guild of Master Craftsmen who can physically vett their work.

What information is in a tradesman reply ?
We aim to provide you with all the information that you need to make a decision in choosing a trade professional for your project. By default you will see the profile / website of each tradesman that replies to your project. This will include relevant information about their company, their contact details, background information, photos of previous work that they have completed etc.
On their web site there is also a 'Rating' page. This is important as it shows prosepective customers comments and rating from previous customers that have previously hired them. A tradesman will be given an average rating based on all feedback received. This may provide you with further guidance in making your decsion. Where a tradesman has no rating on his profile it may mean that they are new to the Onlinetradesmen.com service.
Tradesmen will also send you a personalised message for your project which will include pricing and start date information. In some cases a tradesman may be able to provide you with a precise quotation for your project, in others they may only be able to provide a rough estimate with a note indicating that a site survey is required. The detail provided here will depend on the quality of the information that you provide and the nature of the job.
